Terms of service.
The rules. Short, on purpose.
Summary in one paragraph.
You can use CyberSygn to detect signature fields in PDFs, sign documents, and route signing requests to other people. Free for three documents a month, paid plans for more. Do not use it to forge signatures, defraud anyone, harass anyone, or sign contracts you do not have authority to sign. You own your contracts; we own the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Either side can walk away at any time. Disputes get governed by Colorado law. There is no class action.
1. Who can use CyberSygn.
You must be at least eighteen years old, capable of forming a binding contract under the laws where you live, and not on a US sanctions list. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that company to these terms.
2. The service.
CyberSygn detects signature, initial, date, and checkbox fields in PDFs and Word documents, routes signing requests, captures signatures, generates an audit trail and certificate, and delivers signed documents. The current feature set is what is live on cybersygn.io today. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. If a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will email you first.
3. Your account.
Keep your password and any magic links secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. We will help you secure it.
4. Plans and billing.
Demo. Three documents lifetime per email, no card required. Signed PDFs carry a small CyberSygn footer.
Solo. $12 per month. Unlimited documents, every feature unlocked.
Origin. $9 per month, locked for the life of your account, first one hundred customers only. Once we hit one hundred, the option closes. Existing Origin accounts keep the rate as long as your subscription is continuously active. Cancel and resubscribe and you move to Solo.
Studio. $29 per month for three seats. Add seats at $9 per seat per month. Shared workspace, member roles, aggregated dashboard, bulk send.
Lifetime. $299 one-time payment, no recurring fees. Limited to the first fifty customers. Lifetime grants every Solo feature for the life of the product. After fifty the option closes.
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. Charges are non-refundable: once the service has been used (a document uploaded, a field detected, an invite sent, or a Lifetime purchase activated), the charge stands. Cancel any time to stop the next charge. If your card fails, we will retry a few times and pause your account if collection ultimately fails; your documents stay in your account, you just lose the paid features until you fix it.
5. Acceptable use.
You agree not to:
- Forge a signature you do not have authority to apply.
- Use CyberSygn to defraud, harass, threaten, or stalk anyone.
- Send signing requests to anyone who has not consented to receive them.
- Upload documents containing child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that violates intellectual property rights you do not hold.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except via our security disclosure process at security@cybersygn.io.
- Use the service to break the law where you live or where the signer lives.
- Resell access without a written reseller agreement from us.
- Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the marketing site.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For obvious abuse (CSAM, fraud schemes) we will act immediately. For ambiguous cases we will reach out before suspending.
6. Your content.
You own every document you upload and every signed copy that comes back. We do not claim any ownership over your contracts. We get a narrow, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit your documents only as needed to run the service. We do not use your documents to train AI models. We do not allow our vendors to either.
7. Our content.
The CyberSygn name, logo, brand assets, marketing copy, and codebase are ours. We license the codebase under terms posted at our GitHub repository; outside of that license, you may not use our brand to suggest endorsement or affiliation.
8. Privacy.
Covered separately in our privacy policy.
9. Signers without accounts.
When you route a document to a signer who does not have a CyberSygn account, they receive a magic link. By signing through that link they agree to these terms for the limited purpose of completing that signing session. We do not create accounts for them or send any other marketing email.
10. Audit certificates.
Every completed document gets a tamper-evident audit certificate with timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the original document. This evidence is real. Its legal weight depends on the jurisdiction and the matter. The certificate is documentation; it is not a guarantee of enforceability.
11. Cancellation and termination.
You can cancel any time from the dashboard. Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the end of your current billing period. Past charges are not refunded — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We can terminate or suspend accounts for material breach of these terms; we are not obligated to refund any unused portion in that case.
12. Warranties.
We provide CyberSygn "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that detection will catch every field, that the legal weight of a signed document will hold in your jurisdiction, or that the service is fit for any specific contract type. The disclaimers in this paragraph are limited by local law; you keep whatever consumer protections the law where you live provides.
13. Limitation of liability.
To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid CyberSygn in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars. Neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. These limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence, or anything else local law prevents us from limiting.
14. Indemnification.
You agree to defend and hold CyberSygn harmless from claims arising from your use of the service in a way that violates these terms or someone else's rights. We agree to defend and hold you harmless from claims that CyberSygn itself, as we provide it, infringes someone else's intellectual property.
15. Governing law and disputes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved by email go to the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Colorado. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. If you live in a jurisdiction where this waiver is unenforceable, the part that is unenforceable does not apply to you.
16. Changes.
We may revise these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use CyberSygn after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
17. Severability and entire agreement.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and CyberSygn about the service.
